Aromatic Hydrolats CPD

rose hydrolat

Aromatic hydrolats are a safe and natural by-product derived from the process of essential oil distillation.  They are much more gentle therapeutic agents than essential oils, with a mild action which is without toxicity, making them incredibly beneficial and versatile to use.

Aromatherapists are beginning to appreciate the amazing benefits and uses these once overlooked aromatic waters can have.

This is an enjoyable and informative one-day CPD course which aims to extend and deepen qualified Aromatherapists knowledge and clinical practice.

Course Content:

Origins of hydrolats (sometimes called hydrosols)
What Hydrolats actually are
Producing Hydrolats
Safety and Storage Issues
Quality and Cost
Physical Characteristics of Hydrolats
Benefits of using hydrolats in therapeutic practice
Methods of using hydrolats, eg face masks, room sprays, baths/showers, creams, lotions, haircare, gargles/mouthwashes, compresses, etc
An in-depth look at a selection of the most useful hydrolats

At the end of the day, there will be an opportunity to create your own product using hydrolats and essential oils.
